Google is 200 years old!

You all must be knowing by now that I am a big fan of Google. I found this video which tells how old is Google – 200 YEARS OLD! Now that is something you didn’t know…hehe…This video from NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien shows how people used Google in those times.

Google Error?

Looks like Google really has some visible errors in their search results. I was searching for a code on “banner rotation” on Google and came across the first search result which had no title link to click on to go to the page! How can a person go to that site when the search result just shows the site snippet and not the title link? I checked that site and found that the page had a title so could this be a Google Error? Err…I think the answer is YES! What do you think?

Happy Birthday Google!

A very Happy Birthday to Google. Although the exact date when Google celebrates its birthday has moved around over the years, it is known that Google opened its doors in September 1998. Google turned 9 this month. Quite a young company huh? Turned out to be the most used and reliable search engine the Internet has ever seen.

From a Menlo Park, California, garage company to a Mountain View, California (Googleplex) company, its history is really interesting to read and has become so many people’s role-model company(pssp…mine too!).

I read an amazing article today and I bet all those techies out there would also like it…Don’t look now, but the role of the industry’s biggest bully is increasingly played by Apple, not Microsoft.
